Sargodha city, the headquarters of the district with the same name, was founded in the year 1903 by Sir Malcolm Hailey, who afterwards became the Governor of the Punjab. The District Bar of Sargodha was came into being in 1947. Sargodha lies between 31-300 and 32-350 North latitudes and between 72-050 and 73-150 East latitude.
